PRINTING AND PUBLICATION TECHNOLOGIES PROGRAM
TITLE
In the Printing and Publishing Technologies program, after completing their courses successfully and changing elsewhere, they are entitled to receive associate degree diploma. Graduates of the program will have the title of Printing-Publishing Technician (printing technician).
SPECIAL ACCEPTANCE TERMS
Transition to Higher Education Examination (YGS) to have entered or without the transition exam is done. Higher Education Examination (YGS) Student Selection and Placement Center (ÖSYM) was held once. The student received a score from the Transition to Higher Education Examination (YGS) and was not ranked according to the average.
QUALIFICATION CONDITIONS
We are completing secondary education for membership in the Printing and Publishing Technologies Program. Vocational High School Higher Education Institution determined to be graduated from the secondary education program. There is no limit to the maximum period of study to obtain Associate Degree.
RECOGNITION OF PREVIOUS STUDIES
Students enrolled in higher education institutions have the right to demand recognition of their previous studies at different universities. New students must submit their own transcripts and course contents to the relevant department within the first week of the registration year in order to be recognized.
HISTORY
Printing and Publishing Program was established in Muğla Vocational School in 2005-2006 academic year. The program enrolls 80 students each year, 40 (normal education) and 40 (evening education).
PROGRAM PROFILE
The printing industry, which started as one of the oldest professions in the world, maintains its current and validity in parallel with the development of information technologies. Today, the rapid developments in printing technologies have increased the need for trained technical personnel. The aim of the program; The aim of this course is to educate individuals who are capable of designing and printing all kinds of materials to meet the qualified work force needed by the sector, bringing the necessary equipment for printing and publishing together and transforming them into finished products, and also having the competence to make marketing and advertising, and to work as managers and intermediate staff in printing and publishing enterprises.

EXAM REGULATION, EVALUATION AND RATING
Each student has to attend lectures, applications, laboratory, projects, seminars, workshops, mid-term studies and graduation projects. Students who do not attend at least 70% of theoretical courses and 80% of applied and laboratory studies are not allowed to take the final exams of those courses. The students are required to repeat the course until they meet the attendance requirement in theoretical courses. Examinations are usually done in writing. However, the instructor may also decide to take an oral exam. According to the content of the courses, students can also be directed to the project work provided that it is indicated on the information form. The exams of the courses are given by the instructors. Make-up exams can be given to students who have an excuse with the approval of the related board within 15 days from the end date of the mid-term exam.
GRADUATION CONDITIONS
In order to complete the program successfully, it is necessary to pass all the courses in the program (equivalent to 120 ECTS), to obtain at least 2.0 weighted GPA out of 4.00 and to complete the internship successfully
EMPLOYMENT PROFILES OF LEGISLATIONS
Students who graduate from the program in line with the qualifications gained; they are employed in the printing and publishing sector / enterprises.
ACCESS TO OTHER WORK
If graduates succeed in the Vertical Transfer Exam (Vertical Transfer Exam is administered by OSYM). Graduated students may have the chance to have an undergraduate degree.
